The Simley Varsity Wrestling team competed this past weekend at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN.  With 14 wrestlers competing, the Spartans finished with 13 placewinners and 9 finalists.  Of those placewinners, 8 qualified to wrestle at the MSHSL State Wrestling Tournament on Friday and Saturday, March 2-3.  State qualifiers were:  126-Cael Berg, 132-Jake Gliva, 138-Antonio Everett, 145-Nolan Wanzek, 152-Quayin Short, 160-Jacob Hageman, 220-Daniel Kerkvliet, 285-Luke Zaiser
