At the 12/10 meet, Gopher Wrestling will be hosting a community day for Inver Grove Heights to celebrate the wrestling careers of Jake Short and Nick Wanzek. The meet is against Fresno State and will begin at 1PM. What this means is that any Inver Grove Heights wrestling fan can purchase a $5 ticket.

Nick was a 3 time state champion and Jake a 4 time state champion while at Simley.  They are both nationally ranked wrestlers that continue to succeed while still giving back to Inver Grove Heights and Simley Wrestling.
