Simley youth wrestling has a new coach for 3rd - 5th graders. Sam Brancale will be joining the youth team and developing the kids to the next generation of Simley wrestlers. Not only will Sam be coaching the 3rd - 5th graders on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, he will be traveling to youth tournaments and coaching matside for all wrestlers from the youth team.
Sam comes to us from the University of Minnesota where he tacked up a 47-39 record in 4 years which includes placing at the Southern Scuffle and winning 2 major opens. Sam also lettered 4 times. In high school, Sam attended Eden Prarie High School and boasted a 144-9 record while placing all 4 years, which includes a 6th place, 3rd place and two 1st place finishes.
Sam's extensive high school and college experience provides the your of Simley wrestling with a great opportunity to develop into the next wave of state champions at Simley High School.
